An oak plank hangs from the ceiling with a steel wire to touch the floor at a 60° angle. The length of the oak plank is chosen to measure the artist’s height from feet to shoulder. Only visible in parts, the words “SUSPENDED FALL” are inscribed on the lower edge of the plank (the upper halfer part of each letter on the lower part of the plank and the lower half on the edge of it). The words would thus be confortably readable only if the plank fell down. The title “00:00:1.20s” equals the duration of the falling plank, as calculated with the best approximation possible.
